LOOK | SSU-COMELEC announced special election

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Samar State University – Commission on Elections (COMELEC) announced a special election to fill vacant representative positions within the University Student Council (USC).

This decision follows the recent low candidate turnout in the SSU-USC elections. The search is now on for five representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences and four additional representatives from the College of Education, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Engineering, and College of Industrial Technology.

With this, COMELEC has also released the qualifications and requirements for interested students.
