Maintaining the prestige of the royal family, the Social Studies Circle (SSC) carried out its general assembly and election of officers at the Administration Building Roofdeck on Friday, September 20.
As the assembly commenced, freshmen of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies program were welcomed by the circle headed by SSC adviser Jhonil Bajado through designating them to four various houses namely House of Jesuits, House of Balangiga, House of Sumuroy, and House of Isabella Segunda.
Following this initiation rites, the election set in motion and the new officers are:
- President: John Michael Bacurio
- Vice President: Denice Diana
- Secretary: Chile Balena
- Assistant Secretary: Kayzy Jabien
- Treasurer: Sheyren Gabon
- Assistant Treasurer: Milo Padayao
- Auditor: Dionesio Bacurio
- M.M.O.: Dan Johann Maribojoc
Each year level also reached a decision in selecting their representatives. Said spokespersons are as follows:
- First year: Edward Joseph Labrague, Jasper Cabacang
- Second year: Marlon Baldago, John Michael Iso
- Third year: Ronalyn Haylo, Veronica Bacsal
- Fourth year: Ma. Lourdes Totanes, Wilma Alegarbes
Moreover, Louisa Mae Labit was chosen as the ambassadress of the circle tagged as Royal Princess and Arvin De Luna is now on his second year as the Royal Prince after being reelected as SSC’s ambassador.
