To get familiar with one of the host universities of the first international camp, students from Indonesia’s University of Brawijaya and Vietnam’s Tra Vinh University toured around some parts of the SSU Main Campus on Monday.
After the courtesy call of the College of Education Acting Dean Dr. Laura Boller, Bachelor of Secondary Education – English students taught the international students the basics of Waray language.
The teaching and learning session included topics such as the language background in the Philippines, basic greetings, and numbers and directions. After the session, a Student Teaching Office tour also commenced.
Moreover, the international students explored the different laboratories found at the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Building after another courtesy call with the CAS Dean Dr. Florabelle Patosa.
The mini tour ended with the students visiting the SSU Gymnasium with youth organizations around the city with booths showcasing their advocacies as part of the Catbalogan Young People’s Day Advocacy Fair.
