As the second day of the Campus Journalism Convention 2024 almost comes to an end, Samira Gutoc, a journalist and a former member of ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly graced the event to talk about political journalism, concluding the lineup of resource speakers for the three-day event.
She highlighted about Moro women, the importance of political journalism in a community, and likened political journalism to her roots in her talk.
“Politics is like weaving. That’s where I’m coming from e,” Gutoc said.
“Political journalism is not just stories of people who run… political journalism is also about non-political. The weaving of stories is us, journalists, who are going to make it important,” she added, ending her talk.
Meanwhile, the solidarity night is set to commence tonight, a time for delegates to foster camaraderie, network, and unite.
