Organized by Transforming Advocates and Champions (TRAC) Inc., the National Campus Journalism Convention’s plenary sessions start with Filipino sports analyst and television commentator Dr. Severino Sarmenta Jr. entitled “Sports Journalism matters on the campus and beyond” at Manila Grand Opera Hotel.
After the said plenary session, a forum and workshop will commence.
According to its rationale, CJC will provide students with the opportunity to voice their opinions and share their ideas with their peers and the wider community.
Along with 62 other participating schools including Biliran Province State University and Eastern Samar State University of the Eastern Visayas region, seven campus journalists from Samar State University are present in the second edition of the convention today, April 28, until April 30, 2024.
