Samar State University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences achieved another accomplishment, with 17 of its Pharmacy graduates passing the April 2024 Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE).
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) disclosed on Tuesday afternoon, April 23, that out of 2,147 examinees nationwide, 1,185 successfully cleared the examination, resulting in a national passing rate of 55.19%.
During the examination held on April 16-17, graduates from SSU exhibited commendable performance, with an impressive 77.78% of first-time takers passing, totaling 14 out of 18 candidates who are now officially Registered Pharmacists.
Meanwhile, three out of four retakers, amounting to 60%, also succeeded in passing the exam, leading to an overall passing rate of 73.91% for SSU PhLE takers.
