Samar State University has logged new achievements as one of its College of Engineering (CoEng’g) alumni, Engr. Jaypee Panganiban, passed the April 2024 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination (ECELE), and along with him, three other CoEng’g graduates, namely Leander Eamon Fajardo, Danielle Tuazon, and Meriel Ann Jole, passed the April 2024 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination (ECTLE).
With eight Tradesman takers in both said licensure examinations, the university logged a 12.50% (1 out of 8) overall passing rate for ECELE and 50.00% (4 out of 8) overall success rate for ECTLE.
Per the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released results on April 17, the national passing rate for ECE and ECT board exams reached 42.49% (1,330 out of 3,130) and 71.67% (1,819 out of 2,538), respectively.
