Samar State University notched another triumph in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) as the College of Education and the university’s external campuses successfully produced a total of 275 new professional teachers, following the release of the September 2023 LET results on December 7.
As per the released results, SSU logged an institutional success rate of 58.48% for the elementary level, with 100 out of 171 graduates from the university’s Early Childhood and Elementary Education programs acing the said board exam.
For the secondary level, the university achieved a passing percentage of 51.78%, producing 175 newly licensed professional secondary teachers out of 338 SSU-produced examinees.
SSU also documented notable first-time taker success rates of 84.09% for the elementary level and 77.51% for the secondary level, cementing its legacy of LET success and reaffirming its commitment to producing highly competent 21st century global teachers.
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that the September 2023 LET produced a total of 77,777 newly licensed teachers out of 146,562 takers (53.07%), comprising 23,782 passers out of 50,593 examinees (47.01%) for the elementary level and 53,995 passers out of 95,969 examinees (56.26%) for the secondary level.
