Samar State University’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) provincial government election commenced at 1:00 PM on the 3rd floor of its building.
In spite of the absence of nominated candidates during the specified period, this election, devoid of traditional contenders, took on a nomination-style format, putting the decision-making power in the hands of the CONHS community.
Led by Jan Carl Abarratigue, the current governor, and members of the CONHS student body, the place buzzed with anticipation and intrigue as students came together to participate in this unprecedented event.
In a display of unity and commitment to democratic values, the CONHS community is resolute in ensuring that leadership roles are filled, even in the absence of the usual candidates.
