Independently living, able to do multitudes of tasks on her own not needing any male assistance or entertainment.
To nose-dive her words, not holding back as long as she holds truthfulness in her breasts.
Fearful of the past that shaped her current self, wondering but hoping the past will not repeat itself.
She sometimes say the most meanest of things, words that are not supposedly uttered, but who can blame her? Distance is the greatest ally for a person who was betrayed before.
Proud, that no matter what the people spread, may her friends nigh, her once closest friends be like of a vile serpent, she’ll stand tall, unaffected and merciful.
Beautiful, that not even fairies can look this dazzling, not even mermaids can look this serene, not even princesses can look this mesmerizing. I’ll bite my tongue not to look too engrossed with her beauty.
But above all compliments I could give, the most flowery of words I can use to get through her head. Beneath it all is just a woman wanting to be loved truthfully and someone who is all in on her. To be in tune with determination, to love her as deeply as she needs so I can finally reach her, To bring back not her heart but her confidence back; this is no longer about me feeling confident, no. This is me shoving confidence to someone who was wronged before and choose to stay silent. To bring back her voice and that it is okay to vent, be mad, scream, cuss, cry, and be needy. I will her voice when it seems like she’ll choose to endure pain in silent.
From her overwhelming “bulag na kita” against my litany of “I am never giving up on you” is the commitment I hold the moment you chose me.
The kindest person, not ever laying a finger, not much as a breath of letters against those who pull her down.
