IN PHOTOS | Hours before the city parade and opening ceremonies, the 267-strong SSU Deer arrived with much excitement at the host institution, Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU), for this year’s 38th Eastern Visayas Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Games this Sunday noon, December 8.
Simultaneously, the university’s determined athletes were accompanied by Dr. Gina Españo, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, and Dr. Randy Pacadaljen, Sports Development Program Director, along with other university officials.
The delegation is set to attend in a 2.7-kilometer city parade later this afternoon, starting from Gomez Street circling to Rueda Extension, followed by the opening ceremonies at the NwSSU Oval Grounds, officially marking the commencement of the athletic games for the 11 contending State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across Region VIII.
