JUST IN | Samar State University’s (SSU) folk dance representatives proved their excellence as they were deemed the champion of the annual Eastern Visayas dance competition, Dance Dayo, making history as the first winner in the Philippine Folk Dance category.
Meanwhile, the SSU Bugsok ended up as the first runner-up in the hip-hop contest as they competed against nine teams from different colleges.
Held at the Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) in Palo, Leyte, the SSU dancers for both competitions dazzled the audience as they performed with their captivating talents earlier this evening at the SPSPS Quadrangle, December 6.
