To commemorate the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), National Children’s Month (NCM) is celebrated every November.
The month also plays a role in raising awareness about child-related issues, such as child labor, child abuse, and child trafficking. Advocacy campaigns are often launched to encourage individuals, communities, and policymakers to take action to protect and promote children’s rights.
Let’s celebrate all children (and feeling children) during National Children’s Month and remember to provide them with as many opportunities as you can that lead to healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives. 💖
