Recently, Tarangnan and surrounding areas have experienced heavy rainfall and strong, unrelenting winds, leading to facilities, like schools in Oeste, being maimed and making them unusable. This natural disaster has also devastated communities and residential areas, leaving many residents homeless and in urgent need of support.
In response to this situation, several student organizations at Samar State University are joining forces to initiate a fundraising campaign and donation drive aimed at supporting Oeste and other affected areas.
Project SAMARYANIHAN will be dedicated in gathering monetary donations and in kind donations for communities that need our assistance.
Donations of school and office supplies for Oeste National High School are greatly appreciated. Please note that these donations will be separate from the main in-kind contributions, which will focus primarily on residential areas.
While we have selected local benefactors, we remain in solidarity with Bicol and other affected communities. Together, our collective response can help those affected to recover from this calamity and rebuild their communities.
