The Tradesman community, including Samar State University Main Campus and external campuses, Paranas, and Mercedes, celebrated the first day of the SSU Palaro after a five-year hiatus with a city-wide parade, Monday, October 21.
Present at the parade were heads, faculty, staff and students of SSU’s multiple campuses. Said parade was routed from the SSU Grounds to downtown Catbalogan City and and concluded at the SSU Gymnasium Grounds with a flag ceremony to formally kick off the four-day event, followed by the opening program.
