Bringing together contestants from Samar State University’s departments and external campuses, Mr. and Ms. SSU Palaro officially comes back after a five-year hiatus, beginning at the SSU Gymnasium grounds and marking the first day of the four-day sports meet.
In line with various tournaments, contestants from SSU Main’s departments—the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Education, and College of Engineering—are participating, bringing candidates that represent their college. External campuses, including SSU Paranas, and Mercedes are also present to compete for the prestigious multi-campus title.
The event will feature multiple segments, including talent performances, interviews, and evening gown presentations, all designed to highlight the contestants’ individuality and strength.
