After an exchange of dreadful offensive set-ups, College of Industrial Technology pulled a comeback to secure the championship title as they take down College of Arts and Sciences, 2-1, during the men’s Sepak Takraw during the SSU Palaro 2024.
Despite being down by a set, CIT managed to pull off a reverse sweep, securing a medal for their team.
CAS’s early aggresion startled the towering defense of CIT, allowing them to dominate their foe, ending the set in a controlling manner, 15-4.
CIT immediately bounced back, edging out Cas to push the match into a deciding game, keeping their chance for a podium finish alive, 15-13.
CIT closed out the game with a nerve-wracking decision set as they went on neck-on-neck duel with CAS, securing their gold medal in the SSU Palaro, 15-11.
