Pursuant to Executive Order No. 10-006 s. 2024 issued by Acting City Mayor Coefredo Uy, the suspension of all classes in private and public schools in Catbalogan City is extended until tomorrow, October 24, while work in all government and private offices shall resume on the same date.
Similarly, the Office of the Samar State University President issued an advisory stating that classes and athletic events of the 2024 SSU Palaro remain suspended until further notice. However, classes may be conducted via modular or flexible modality.
The extension of the suspension of classes due to severe weather conditions also delays the SSU Palaro for another day, which was originally scheduled for the championship games, the awarding ceremony, and the declaration of the overall results.
