LOOK | First flag raising ceremony A.Y. 2024-2025

Samar State University’s Main Campus officially commenced the start of Academic Year 2024-2025 with a flag raising ceremony on Monday, September 16, at the SSU Gymnasium Grounds.

University heads, officials, personnel, new and returning students alike were in attendance to kick off the start of classes for the institution.

The newly introduced dean of the Samar Island Institute of Medicine, Dr. Noel Espallardo, was also present, marking the launch of the university’s Doctor of Medicine program.

After the ceremony, the first of many orientation activities took place, a procession around significant university landmarks as part of the freshmen walk.
