More than just a celebration, this day serves as the beacon that signifies the relentless efforts of journalists nationwide, for a freer press.
Amidst all the suppression, censorship, and blackmailing that proliferates through the government, universities, and institutions alike, we will continue to write for our rights. Today, and for all days right after, we shall forever remain dauntless and unflinching, all for quality and conflict-sensitive reportage.
