It takes a village to raise a harmonious ASEAN community— it’s a cause we all should take part in.
With the surging coercion and pressures from exploitative strategies for expansion, it is crucial now more than ever that we set aside our differences and hold our heads high toward our overlapping identities, visions, and aspirations as part of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) community.
By virtue of Proclamation No. 282, August Of Every Year is declared as “ASEAN Month”. May this month transcend the essence of this celebration and crash its way through towards holding the socio-cultural and economic fabric, values, and core identities we all hope to sustain for peace and posterity as one ASEAN community.
