Streets of Catbalogan City were filled with vibrant colors as the STS/SSAT/SSPC/SSU Grand Alumni Homecoming Fiesta Festival Grand Parade commenced today, July 26, with the theme “Celebrating Philippine Diversity & Cultural Heritage.”
The parade featured various contests and awards, including:
- Best in Street dance
- Best in Costume
- Best Float
- Most Lively
- Most Attended Batch
- Best Festival King and Queen
Four batches presented their street dances including the 1984 Ruby Jubilarians with the Mascara Festival, the 1999 Silver Jubilarians with Panagbenga, the batch 1987 with Higantes, and the batch 1982 with Pintaflores, each celebrating Philippine cultural heritage with lively performances.
The festivities will continue with the Grand Night on July 27 and Batch Day on July 28, 2024.
