July 17 is World Day of International Justice! ⚖️
According to Coalition of International Criminal Court, this day is a commemoration of adopting Rome statute on July 17, 1988 highlighting “fight against impunity and bringing justice for the victims of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.”
Developed and developing nations are not excused from incompetent, flawed justice system thus this urges those in power to cater population who are usually victimized and discriminated from accessing the justice they deserve regardless of their age, economic status, gender and other affiliation.
May this day remind us to fight for justice in all forms, wherever you are around the globe. As the adage goes “Justice denied, is justice delayed.”
