Themed “Reimagined Elegance: The Art of Sustainable Couture,” varied works of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, majoring in Fashion and Apparel Technology, and Cosmetology students shone on the runway during the 2024 Sirak Fashion Show at the SSU Gymnasium, May 30.
First- to third-year students of the BSIT-FAT program designed and sewed their own garments, also serving as the models for the event. Meanwhile, BSIT-Cosmetology students provided the makeup artistry for the said models.
All BSIT-FAT students displayed their upcycling skills through transforming everyday wear into unique outfits.
Freshmen and sophomores showcased their creativity with casual pieces, while upperclassmen presented more elaborate designs.
Also, first years embodied the “We serve” mantra through their SSU uniform creations, second years showcased Filipiniana ensembles, and third years flaunted formal wear and party dresses.
The show’s finale brought together the models, their makeup artists, and the faculty of the said programs.
