With the aim of “creating an atmosphere of inclusivity while acknowledging the importance of a balanced student life,” as outlined in their proposal, the Samar State University – University Student Council pushed through this year’s students’ week, presenting “Kamagkarit 2024: Celebrating Students’ Excellence.”
According to USC President Joshua Ibajo, this two-day event scheduled today and tomorrow, April 25-26, will be “more focused on sports to promote camaraderie,” shifting from last year’s various cultural-centered activities.
The planned activities comprise volleyball, basketball, a reel contest, a photo competition, an essay writing competition, a general information quiz bee, an amazing race, and impersonation, as listed on the SSU – USC’s official Facebook page.
“Ha mga estudyante nga gusto umapi ha amon activities, pag-enjoy la hira kay tungod para man liwat ini ha ira,” Ibajo said in an interview.
