CATBALOGAN CITY — Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC) undertook its first National Teacher Education Quiz Bee – Institutional Qualifying Round with Samar State University (SSU) at the College of Education Function Room today, April 11, 2024.
Bituin T. Rumol, a fourth-year BSEd-Science student, clinched the top spot in the competition and will represent the university in the Provincial Level, followed by Jehan P. Nuevo in second place, and Stephanie Ruth A. Ocampo in third. All three secured full scholarships from the review center.
Present in the event were the 30 student participants, organizers from CBRC, as well as the Student Teaching Supervisor, Manilyn S. Sablan, who delivered the closing remarks.
“I hope that you have somehow learned some tips on how you’re going to ace the LET… all the best for everyone, all the best for CBRC. Thank you so much for this opportunity, mabuhay tayong lahat,”
said Sablan, formally ending the event.
Meanwhile, the National Aptitude Normative Test Examination (NANTE) for all fourth-year education students is set to occur at 8:00 AM tomorrow at the COEd function room.
