Food and Wine Festival 2024 takes off at the Samar State University Maceda Gymnasium, featuring the theme “INDAK: Instilling Native Delicacies, Arts, and Knowledge.” Under the supervision of the Director of the Arts and Cultural Affairs, Prof. Jhonil C. Bajado, students from his classes, including Readings in Philippine History, Samar Studies, and Philippine Popular Culture, participate in various categories for the event.
With the aim of promoting the culture, food, and wine culture of Samar, the first part of the program will showcase various cultural performances, followed by presentations of native Samar food and wine. Subsequently, an awarding ceremony is bound to take place.
