Mabuhay ang mga OFW!
Proclamation No. 276, issued in 1988, officially designates December as the month of Overseas Filipinos, a public acknowledgment of the noteworthy contributions and sacrifices made by our esteemed “Bagong Bayani” in service to our beloved nation.
These individuals, often referred to as modern-day heroes, serve as an important role in strengthening our country’s economy through their diligent payment of taxes and the significant remittances they send home.
Let us come together to extend this celebration throughout the entire month, dedicated to honoring and appreciating the extraordinary efforts of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Their dedication and sacrifices resonate deeply as they labor abroad to provide for their families and uplift the economic landscape of our country.
