Samar State University – Museum and Archives holds Symposium on Basic Museology and the Basics of Tour Guiding in collaboration with the Eastern Visayas Association of Museums (EVAM), the Social Studies Circle, and selected students of Readings in Philippine History classes at the CAS Audio Visual Center.

Event’s guest speakers are EVAM President and Manager of the Leyte Normal University (LNU) Guest House and Coordinator of Tours Dr. Nilda Villaflor Jamora; and Carl Jamie Simple Bordeos, the Curator of the Christ the King College Archaeological Museum and member of the Executive Committee of the National Committee on Museums of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Initiated by Professor Jhonil Bajado of the SSU Museum and Archives, this gathering is tied to the recently wrapped-up History Month and the impending EVAM meeting set to be hosted by SSU.
