Samar State University – College of Engineering lauds its two (2) new Electronics Engineers; Engr. Eleonor Rosco, and Engr. Jade Ian Rondina who are both first-time takers under the ECE program, upon passing the April 2023 Electronics Engineer (ECE) licensure examination, and Electronics Technicians (ECT) board exams.
As per the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announcement, 983 out of 2,935 (33.49%) successfully passed the April 2023 ECE licensure exams, while 1,641 out of 2,227 (73.69%) withstood ECT board examinations nationwide.
Further, SSU notched an overall rating of 22.22% in the ECE exams with two (2) passers, and one (1) conditional taker. Meanwhile, SSU garnered an overall passing rate of 66.67% in the ECT board exams, with six (6) passers.
The results were released on Wednesday, April 26, three (3) working days after the last day of exams held on April 19 and 20 in different testing centers all over the country.
