Samar State University-Student Welfare and Development Services (SSU-SWDS), in partnership with the City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO) of Catbalogan City, launched its annual Christmas Activity for the indigent children of the said city at SSU Maceda Gymnasium amid the Christmas season on Monday, December 19.
To give the sense of the Christmas season to these children, they were given gifts and various subsistence. This activity was administered to provide minuscule entertainment which made children energetic and jovial together with the facilitators and SWDS personnel.
The indigent children of Catbalogan City were once again unified during the opening of the program together with their guardians and the designated CSWDO social workers.
This Christmas event was conducted by the SWDS personnel, headed by the director Dr. Mae Cañal, together with the staff Ma. Andrea Del Rosario, Angelyn Machate, Karizza Rochelle Servado-Rojas, Melboy Merciales, Alma Junia Pagli-awan, Glenn Donadillo, Hyannia Deanelle Comilan, as well as CSWDO staff Fe Dorado, Elsa Daradal, and Lito Lucero Jr.
