“Civil Engineering is both challenging and rewarding,” Engr. Fabillar emphasized. Moreover, another reason she reminded the students was to let people be reminded of the importance of Civil Engineering in nation building.
Orientation on the PICE organization followed after spearheaded by the PICE President Arvin Dacut Jr. where he mentioned the organization’s vision, core values, goals and objectives, history and membership. He also laid stress on the benefits of a PICE member such as workshops, review sessions, exclusive discounts on PICE merch, and events.

She congratulated the SSU-PICE SC officers for the success of the event as well as the students, “To all Civil Engineering students, mabuhay kayo! All your efforts will definitely pay off. Padayon, Engineer!”
Team-building
Meanwhile, the most eagerly anticipated part of the day was the afternoon session of the event, the team-building activity.
CE students from first to fourth year were mixed up and equally divided into six (6) competing teams: Blue, Gray, Green, Pink, Red, and Yellow teams.
Alive and active atmosphere of thrill was highlighted as the participants maintain a team spirit throughout the games.
Every team put up a close fight against each other as they set to take part in various categories of Laro ng Lahi.
