Final buzzer sounded, sets ended and matches are called off, as the COVID-19 struck the world and cause its collapse, taking sports a no exception.
After a more than a year layoff, sports are taking baby steps forward, resuming games while following safety measures.
Pro leagues like the NBA, NFL, MLB and others around the globe, continuing operations, providing must see entertainment for the sports enthusiasts.
But what are the odds? Things did not run smooth initially, tallying covid cases left and right, violations of safety protocol put the most awaited comeback in jeopardy.
As time passes, the threat of the virus around is still evident, but it took its toll and number of cases drop, and light of hope shined through the sporting world.
Sports are now severely allowed, even in local places nearby. But still following minimal health and safety protocol.
It may be took 1 year and a half “time out” but there is always hope and way, as everyone will soon enjoy the life they used too and labeled as “normal” and unite, watch games, support favorite players/teams, as it is time for a whole new ball game!
